The Artisans Cooperative of Sarchí was born in 1982, due to a common need for a physical place to sell handmade products made in the Valverde Vega canton. Was founded in order to provide a place for artisans to sell their products to the foreign public. The partners are the main suppliers of furniture and handicrafts, but there are also external suppliers from the country and mostly from Sarchí.
