It's considered to have one of the biggest crater in the world. On this volcano you'll enjoy
the different landscapes thanks to the lookouts of the national park.
Poás Volcano is still active, the height is 2708 msnm and is one of the country's natural
wonders.
One interesting fact is that inside this park, 1km south from the main crater you'll find
Botos Lake that is very big and blue with very cold water
and it has an approximate size of 400m in diameter. On the trails you will find lot of
different kinds of flora a faura.
